Our Naturalist Ecotourism Company Founder
Patrick Walshe founded Coastal Revelations Ecotours after a lifelong
love affair with nature. Born into a wilderness provincial
park where his father was the head naturalist, Patrick pursued
work as a forest and fisheries biologist before working as
an environmental educator. His technical training as an ecosystem researcher,
combined with his experience working as a canoe and kayak
guide, camp counsellor and nature interpreter contribute to
his ongoing desire to share nature’s amazing secrets.
Patrick’s other training includes First Aid, Ground
Search and Rescue, and tracking and survival skills from Tom
Brown Jr.’s internationally famous Tracker School. He is a Registered Professional Biologist T/W in the province of British Columbia.
